At Freqens, our mission is to bring greater transparency to B2B purchasing. We empower professional buyers to identify optimal prices for goods and services through our benchmarking technology, ensuring they always buy under the best conditions.
After launching our first version, we’re looking to bring design in-house and are seeking our first designer to help us develop our product and refine our brand.
Our web application has a focused feature set that allows clients to access their benchmarks on a per-vendor or per-subscription basis, while also managing their subscriptions to keep track of upcoming negotiations.
Although benchmarking is inherently technical and data-intensive, our goal is to create an intuitive product that can be easily used by individuals who are not analytics-savvy. We recognise the challenge of balancing the complexity of our benchmark engine with the need to communicate intricate concepts simply, that’s why we are seeking someone who can grasp this complexity and translate it into an accessible product.
Our first version is built on the Radix Themes design system, which we plan to continue using for the foreseeable future. However, we are eager to make adaptations to ensure it feels less generic and more uniquely ours. Here are some screenshots so you can get a better sense of our app’s interface, as well as how it aligns with our design vision.
Just as we aim to create a product that simplifies complexity, we wanted to design a brand and website that stands apart from typical SaaS financial tools. Our goal was to convey a sense of transparency, clarity, and a burden-free experience. We chose nature-inspired illustrations, with the lighthouse symbolising our commitment to guiding companies in navigating their pricing negotiations. We incorporated a more technical touch in our typography to remind our prospects and users that we are, indeed, a SaaS tool.
Our brand is currently a minimum viable version, leaving room for improvements. While it’s not our primary focus at the moment, we are excited about the possibilities for its growth and evolution. We’ll be happy to explore ways to make it more engaging and reflective of our values as we continue to develop our product and learn about our clients and prospects.
As a Founding Designer at Freqens, you will play a crucial role in shaping our product offering and establishing our design culture. You will work closely with the founders and engineers to craft an exceptional user experience and refine our brand identity.
